Alexandropŏlis (Alexandrjopolis, a. Geogr.), 1) Stadt in Thracien, von Alexander d. Gr. in Abwesenheit seines Vaters wieder erobert, mit fremden Einwohnern bevölkert u. nach ihm benannt 2) (Alexandria Arachosiae), Stadt in Arachosia am Arachotus; 3) (Alexandria Sacarum). Stadt der Sakä in Sogdiana; 4) Stadt in Siracene (Parthien); 5) so v.w. Ägä 1).
