Alva y Astorga, Pedro de A., Franziskanermönch in Spanien, im 17. Jahrh., st. 1667 in den Niederlanden. Berühmt durch Schriften, wie: Über die unbefleckte Empfängniß der Jungfrau; Abc der Maria, 3 Bde., Fol., Das seraph. Arsenal, die seraph. Rose, die Miliz der unbefl. Empfängniß, Naturae prodigi um et gratiae portentum, Madr. 1651 Fol., worin er zwischen Christus u. dem heiligen Franciscus 4000 Ähnlichkeiten nachwies.
