Amăsa, Jethers u. der Abigail Sohn, von Absalom[389] an Joabs Stelle gegen David an die Spitze des Heeres gestellt; nach Absaloms Niederlage begnadigt, erhielt A. Joabs Stelle, wurde aber durch Joab ermordet.
