O. vom Patuxentfluß begrenzt; 20 QM.; Boden hügelig u. im Allgemeinen fruchtbar; Producte: Mais, Weizen, Hafer, Tabak, Serpentinstein, Kupfer, Eisen; von der Washington-Baltimore-Eisenbahn durchschnitten; 32,393 Ew. (wovon 11,249 Sklaven); Hauptstadt: Annapolis, s.d. 4).
