Aurora-Parhelĭa (lat. u. gr.), falsche Sonne od. Nebensonne, welche den Polfahrern während der halbjährigen Polnacht je zuweilen sichtbar wird, herbeigeführt durch die Strahlenbrechung, da die Erscheinung der falschen Sonne ein Reflex der wahren Sonne ist, welche letztere sich unter dem Horizonte befindet.
