Bellman, Karl Michael (pseudonym Fredman), geb. 4. Febr. 1740 zu Stockholm, war Secretär bei der Lotterie daselbst u. starb den 11. Febr. 1795. Gefeierter schwedischer Dichter, der Schwedische Anakreon genannt. Büsten von ihm sind aufgestellt 1829 in dem Thiergarten zu Stockholm (wo jährlich am 26. Juli ein Fest gefeiert wird) u. 1855 zu Carlsborg bei Gefle. Er schr.: Bacchi tempel, Stockh. 1783, n. Ausg. 1815; Zions högtid, ebd. 1787; Epistlar, ebd. 1790, n.
