Beruguēte

Beruguēte, Alonso, geb. 1480 in Paredes de Nava; spanischer Baumeister, Bildhauer u. Historienmaler; studirte 1503–20 in Italien, bes. in Rom u. Florenz, wurde nach seiner Rückkehr nach Spanien von Karl V. zum Ayuda de Camera ernannt u. st. 1561 zu Alcala. Er war der erste, der in Spanien in dem Style der großen Meister malte; Gemälde von ihm in Toledo, Salamanca u.a. O.
