Caerwys (Caer-ar-Wys, spr. Kärwis), Marktflecken in der englischen Grafschaft Flint, Fürstenthum Wales, 1000 Ew. Sonst wurde hier (1798 zum letzten Mal) das Bardenfest Eisteddfod gehalten, ein Fest, bei welchem die wallischen Barden musikalische u. poetische Wettkämpfe hielten u. als Preis eine silberne Harfe erhielten.
