Cerebrāl

Cerebrāl (v. lat.), was sich auf das Gehirn (Cerĕbrum) bezieht; so Cerebralaffection, Gehirnleiden od. Krankheit; Cerebralarterie, Gehirnarterie etc.; Cerebralsystem, der Inbegriff der vom Gehirne ausgehenden Nerven (Cerebralnerven); mit den vom Rückenmark ausgehenden Nerven zusammen bilden sie das Cerebrospinalsystem. Cerebralcroup nennt man fälschlich die krankhafte Erscheinung des Stimmritzenkrampfes. Cerebralganglien, Nervenknoten (Ganglien) der Cerebralnerven. Cerebrospinalganglien, Nervenknoten (Ganglien) der Cerebrospinalnerven, wo sich letztere mit Zweigen des sympathischen Systems (Nervus sympathicus) verbinden.
