Daud (Davud, Dawud, arab., so v.w. David), 1) D. Ebn Nassret-Thai, st. 1777; noch jetzt bei den Muhammedanern als Muster der Rechtschaffenheit verehrt 2) D. Pascha, Großwessler u. Schwager Mustaphas I., 1622 Anstifter eines Aufruhrs in Constantinopel, wobei er den Sultan Othman II. ermordete; doch von den Janitscharen dem Volke ausgeliefert, wurde er hingerichtet. 3) D. Schah, um 1378 Sultan von Dekan (s.d.).
