Dispositĭon

Dispositĭon (v. lat.), 1) Anordnung, Verordnung; so hießen Dispositiones, die Verordnungen der römischen Kaiser für den Augenblick, z.B. wenn er in den Krieg ziehen, verreisen etc. wollte. Dieses gehörte in ein eigenes Departement (Scrinium). das unter dem Comes dispositionum stand; 2) (Bot.), die Stellung, der Stand, die Art, wie die Theile um ihre gemeinschaftliche Achse od. an sonstigen Anheftungspunkten geordnet sind, z.B. Dispositio foliorum, Blattstellung; 3) D. einer Rede, Predigt etc., die Anordnung des Stoffes Behufs weiterer Ausführung eines Gedankens etc. Die D. beruht auf der richtigen Unterordnung der Begriffe; der Grundgedanke (Thema) ist der Gattungsbegriff, von dem man, je nachdem man nach analytischer od. synthntetischer Methode seinen Stoff bearbeitet, hier durch Division von dem Allgemeinen zu dessen Unterarten u. Merkmalen fortschreitet; dort durch Partition von dem Besonderen zu dem Allgemeinen, von dem Concreten zu dem Abstracten zu gelangen sucht. Nothwendige Eigenschaften der D. sind Vollständigkeit u. logische Richtigkeit. Der Erfinder derselben ist der Franziskanermönch Antonius von Padua, nach dem sie Albertus d. Gr. (st. 1280) in seinen Predigten zuerst in Anwendung brachte; 4) Verfügung, z.B. im Handel, wo man nicht preiswürdige od. nicht bestellte Waare nicht auf seine Rechnung nimmt, sondern dieselbe dem Absender zur D. läßt, d.h. daß er anderweit darüber verfügt; 5) der den Commandeurs der einzelnen Truppenabtheilungen mitgetheilte Entwurf zu einem Manöver, auch wohl der Plan zu einem Gefecht; 6) Gemüthsstimmung, Geneigtheit; 7) Krankheitsanlage, s.u. Krankheit.
