Doeg, Idumäer u. Aufseher über die Hirten Sauls, verrieth den Hohenpriester Ahimelech, welcher David auf seiner Flucht vom Hofe des Saul aufnahm u. demselben die Schaubrode u. das Schwert des Goliath gab, u. veranlaßte dadurch die Ermordung des Ahimelech u. anderer 85 Priester.
