Dunse (spr. Donns), Marktflecken in der schottischen Grafschaft Berwick; Wollmanufacturen, Papierfabriken, Rindviehmärkte. Nach Ein. Geburtsort des Theologen Duns Scotus; 2700 Ew. Dabei Stahlbrunnen (D. Späw) u. der Cockburn-Law, ein Berg, dessen Gipfel als Schiffssignal dient.
