Ebal (a. Geogr.), rauhe u. felsige Spitze des Gebirges Ephraim (Samaria), dem Berge Garizim gegenüber, wo, nach Moses Bestimmung, Flüche gegen die dem Gesetz zuwider Lebenden ausgestoßen werden sollten.
