Etheostŏma (E. Rafin.), Gattung der Barsche, mit Holocentrus verwandt; Körper walzenförmig, kleinschuppig, Kopf nackt, Augen vorstehend, Kiemendeckel mit Stachel, Kiemenhaut mit 6 Strahlen; Arten alle aus dem Ohio.
