Mangle (M. Endl., Manglebaum), gehört zur Gattung Rhizophora aus der Familie der Rhizo phoreae. Daher Mangleaustern, sind Austern, welche in Westindien durch Stürme losgerissen auf die Manglebäume geworfen werden, s.u. Austern 2) a).
