Hardwick-Hall

Hardwick-Hall (spr. H.-Hahl), Schloß in der englischen Grafschaft Derbyshire, dem Herzog von Devonshire gehörig; das alte, jetzt in Ruinen liegende, von der Gräfin Shrewsbury (Tochter von John Hardwick) erbaute Schloß war einst das Gefängniß der Königin Maria Stuart.
