Haslingden (spr. Häslingd'n), Fabrikstadt in der englischen Grafschaft Lancashire, am Irwell; Baumwollen- u. Wollenmanufacturen, Eisenbahnverbindung mit Manchester u. Blackburn; 6000 Ew. Von hier aus führt der Haslingden Kanal, der mit dem Leeds-Liverpool Kanal im Norden u. mit dem Bury Kanal im Süden verbunden ist.
