Hydromēter (gr.), 1) Werkzeug, das Volumen od. das Gewicht eines flüssigen Körpers, od. die Geschwindigkeit seiner Bewegung zu messen, so die Aräometer, Wind- u. Strommesser; zu letzteren gehören die Hydrometrische Flasche, der Hydrometrische Flügel u. der Hydrometrische Ast; 2) so v.w. Aräometer.
