Incĭdent

Incĭdent (v. lat.), zufällig, beiläufig. Incidentarĭus, wer beständig über Nebendinge Schwierigkeiten macht, ohne zur Hauptsache zu kommen. Incidentpropositionen, Incidentpunkte (Incidentsachen) Streitfragen, welche nebenbei in einem anbängigen Processe zur Sprache kommen. Incidentverfahren, das besondere Verfahren über einen Incidentpunkt od. eine Incidentsache. Wenn nicht schon gesetzlich für die in Frage stehende Art der Incidentsachen (z.B. eine Urkundenedition) eine bestimmte Proceßform vorgeschrieben ist, so wird das Verfahren gewöhnlich nach den Regeln des unbestimmten summarischen Processes eingeleitet. Incidenz, das Einfallen einer Linie, bes. auch Lichtstrahls auf eine Fläche. Incidenzwinkel, so v.w. Einfallswinkel, s.u. Licht. Incidirende Mittel (Incidentia), Mittel zur Verdünnung zähen Schleimes, bes. Neutralsalze, wie Salmiak, auch Meerzwiebel, Ammoniakharz u.a. Schleimharze.
