Lacrosse, T., Baron de L., geb. 1794 in Brest, Sohn des unter der Republik u. dem Kaiserreiche bekannten Admirals L., diente von 1809–13 in der Marine, trat 1813 in die Kaisergarde u. nahm nach dem Sturze Napoleons seinen Abschied. Nach der Julirevolution wurde er Oberst der Nationalgarde in Brest, Mitglied des Generalraths zu Finistère u. 1834 Deputirter der Stadt Brest in der Kammer, wo er auf der Linken seinen Platz nahm u. bis 1848 zur dynastischen Opposition gehörte. 1840 unterstützte er das Ministerium vom 1. März (Thiers), trat jedoch beim Ministerium vom 29. Oct. abermals zur Opposition. In den Februartagen 1848 gehörte er zu den Männern des Reformbankets u. wurde im Departement Finistère zum Repräsentanten für die Constituirende gewählt. Im Ministerium vom 20. Dec. wurde er Minister der öffentlichen Arbeiten, übernahm vom 18. Mai bis 2. Juni 1849 provisorisch das Ministerium des Innern, blieb bei der Ministerveränderung vom 1. Juni 1849 im Amte, trat aber bei der Neugestaltung des Cabinets vom 31. Oct. d. J. aus In der Nationalversammlung wurde er Vicepräsident. Am 26. Oct. 1851 übernahm er aufs Neue im Ministerium die öffentlichen Arbeiten, wurde nach dem Staatsstreiche vom 2. Decbr. Mitglied der consultativen Commission, Mitglied der Section für Verwaltungsangelegenheiten u. am 27. Jan. 1852 Senator.
