Luteolīn

Luteolīn, Farbstoff des Wau (Reseda luteola), krystallisirt in gelben Nadeln, ist ohne Zersetzung sublimirbar, löst sich in Wasser, Alkohol u. Äther, in Schwefelsäure mit hochrother, in Salpetersäure mit pomeranzengelber, in Alkalien mit hochgelber Farbe; wird durch Alaun, Zinnchlorür u. Bleizucker gelb, durch Kupfervitriol gelbbraun, durch Eisenvitriol grünlichbraun gefällt, schlägt sich daher auf den mit den entsprechenden Salzen gebeizten Zeugen in diesen Farben nieder. Seine Zusammensetzung ist nicht bekannt.
