Rousseau correspondirte), aus der Familie der Rubiaceae-Hedyotideae, 5. Kl. 1. Ordn. L.; Arten: P. coccinea, P. grandiflora, südamerikanische, schön blühende Sträucher; bes. letztere mit 6 Zoll langen, fünfeckigen, weißen, mit rothem Rand u. 15 rothen Längsstrichen versehenen, Nachts sehr wohlriechenden Blüthen.
