Royal Arch (engl., spr. Reuel Ahrtsch, d.i. das königliche Gewölbe), Name eines in England u. Amerika verbreiteten vierten u. höchsten Grades der Freimaurerei. Er bestand schon vor dem Jahre 1744, wurde jedoch erst 1777 von der englischen großen Loge, Modern Masons, anerkannt; er ist auch in französische Systeme übergegangen.
