Sabīnum

Sabīnum, das Landgut des Horatius im Sabinerlande, welches ihm Mäcen geschenkt hatte. Es lag in einem Thale (Sabina valiis, j. Thal von Licenza), wenige Meilen über Tibur an der Digentia (Nebenfluß des Tibris, dessen Quelle Bandusia hieß), beim Dorf Mandela zwischen den Bergen Lucretilis u. Ustica; vgl.
