Sunflower (spr. Sönnflau'r) Grafschaft im Staate Mississippi (Nordamerika), 45 QM., im Südosten vom Yazoo River begrenzt, vom Sunflower River durchflossen; eben, viel Marschland, theilweis sumpfig, im Allgemeinen höchst fruchtbar. Producte: Mais u. Baumwolle. Aus einem Theil der Grafschaft Bolivar gebildet. 1850: 1102 Ew., worunter 754 Sklaven. Hauptstadt: Mc Nutt.
