Tamaqua, Postort in der Grafschaft Schuylkill des Staates Pennsylvanien (Nordamerika), am Tamaqua od. Little Schuylkill River, an der Catawissa- (Milton-Easton) Bahn, durch eine Zweigbahn nach Port Clinton mit der Portsville-Readingbahn verbunden, in der Umgegend reiche Steinkohlenminen, 1829 angelegt; 1854 über 6000 Ew.
