Adjunct

Adjunct (v. lat.), 1) Gehülfe eines Beamten; 2) bes. den geistlichen Ephoren u. Inspectoren beigegebener Amtsgehülfe; daher Adjunctur, Stelle eines Adjuncten, u. Adjungiren, beigeben, zuordnen; bes. als Amtsgehülfen beigeben. Adjuncta, nicht zum Wesen einer Sache gehörige Eigenschaften derselben; Anlage, Beilage. Adjunction, An-, Beifügung, bes. die Art der Accession, bei welcher Bewegliches zum Unbeweglichen tritt; die Art der Vermischung, wenn trockene Gegenstände miteinander vermischt werden.
