Antiphănes, aus Kolophon od. Rhodos, wurde athenischer Bürger, Dichter der mittleren Komödie um 380; soll 260 Stücke verfertigt u. 13 Mal den Preis erhalten haben. Er st. zu Chios, 70 I. alt von einem Apfel erschlagen. Fragmente in Koppiers Observata philol., Leyden 1771.
