Bradley (spr. Bräddli), 1) Hüttenort in der englischen Grafschaft Stafford, am Kanale von Birmingham u. Stäfford; große Eisenwerke (Wilkinsons Eisenwerke), welche 5000 Menschen beschäftigen u. monatlich 850,000 Pfund Stabeisen liefern. In der Nähe ein brennender Steinkohlenschacht. 2) (North-B.), Dorf in der englischen Grafschaft Wilt, unweit Trowbridge, Tuchfabriken, 1500 Ew.; 3) Grafschaft im Staate Arkansas in den Vereinigten Staaten von NAmerika, 431/2 QM.; Producte: Baumwolle u. Mais; 4000 Ew., darunter 1200 Sklaven; Hauptstadt Warren; 4) Grafschaft im Staate Tennessee, an Georgien grenzend; etwa 18 QM.; gebirgig, fruchtbar u. gut bewässert; von der großen Ost-Tennessee-Eisenbahn durchschnitten; 12,500 Ew., darunter 800 Sklaven, Hauptstadt Cleveland.
