Calyptra, Mooshaube, eine vertrocknete häutige Decke, welche die Mooskapseln (Sporenbehälter), od. bei den Lebermoosen den Stiel des Sporenbehälters unten umgiebt od. völlig einschließt, vgl. Kryptogamen, Moose u. Lebermoose. Daher Calypiraeformis,[589] mooshaubenförmig; Calypiratus, gehaubt, d.h. mit einer Haube, Calyptratim, haubenartig.
