Cock, 1) Hieronymus, geb. 1510 in Antwerpen, Maler, Kupferstecher u. Kunsthändler, ging nach Italien, wo er mit Vasati in freundschaftliche Beziehung trat u. diesen bei Herausgabe seines kunstbiographischen Werkes unterstützte. Er gab in Kupferstichen fast sämmtliche Rafaelische Werke heraus u. st. 1570 in Antwerpen. Hauptwerke: Praecipua aliquot Rom. antiquitatis monumenta, 1551, 59 Blätter; Das Leichenbegängniß Karls V.; 15 Landschaften nach Math. C., seinem Bruder; Eine Folge von Bildnissen niederländischer Maler, 1572. Im Belvedere zu Wien befindet sich von ihm eine Ansicht des Campo Vaccino u. der Stadt Rom. 2) s. Coccejus 5).
