Corradīni

Corradīni, 1) Peter Marcellin, geb. 1659 in Sezza, wurde 1712 Cardinal u. st. 1743; er gab mit Vulpi Vetus Latium profanum et sacrum, Rom 1704–45, 11 Bde., heraus. 2) Antonio, Bildhauer aus Este in der 1. Hälfte des 18. Jahrh.; gefiel sich in barokken Erfindungen, so stellte er den Leichnam Christi ganz über u. über in seine Linnen gewickelt dar, daß Form u. Züge durchschienen, so die Verleumdung, die in ihr eignes Netz verstrickt ist. Nach seinen Zeichnungen wurde 1727 der Buzentauro in Venedig mit Schnitzwerk geziert. Von ihm sind die Sculpturen der St. Josephskapelle in Wien; st. 1752.
