Whitewater-River; Boden theilweis hügelig; im Allgemeinen fruchtbar; Producte: Mais, Weizen, Hafer, Rindvieh, Schweine, Schafe. Die Lawrenceburg-Indianopolis-Eisenbahn u. der Whitewater-Kanal durchschneidet die Grafschaft; 1850: 20,166 Ew.; Hauptstadt: Lawrenceburg; 2) Städtischer Bezirk (Township) in der Grafschaft Kennebec des Staates Maine; 3) Städtischer Bezirk in der Grafschaft Wayne des Staates Michigan; 1400 Ew. Darin Dearbornville (spr. Dihrbornwihl), Postort am südlichen Arm des Rouge-River u. der Michigan-Central-Eisenbahn; Arsenal der Vereinigten Staaten, mit einem Wall umgeben.
