Fascicŭlus

Fascicŭlus (lat.), 1) Bündelchen; 2) (Fascikel), Bücherband od. Heft, in dem mehrere gleichartige Schriften od. Blätter (Kupfertafeln u.a.) vereint sind; 3) (Bot.), Büschel, ein endständiger, dicht zusammengedrängter trugdoldiger Blüthenstand; überhauptdicht auf einen Punkt zusammengedrängte Theile, z.B. Blätter, Wurzelfasern etc. einer Pflanze; daher Fasciculatus (Fascicularis), von Gestalt eines Büschels, büschelartig, büschelig, wenn mehrere Theile aus einem Punkte hervorkommen, od. doch dicht zusammnengedrängt um eine kurze Achse sind, wie die Blüthen von Silene Armeria, die Blätter bei Pinus, Berberis vulgaris u. Asparagus officinalis, die Wurzel von Allium Cepa etc.; 4) (Anat.), Bündel von Fasern, bes. 5) so v.w. Muskelbündel; 6) (Fascikel, Bund), Maß – 1 Unze, s.u. Apothekermaß.
