Freemantle (spr. Frimäntel), 1) Hafenort in der englischen Colonie WAustralien, an der Mündung des Schwanenflusses; gegenüber die Insel Rottenest mit Leuchtthurm; 2) (Hian), Insel aus der Washingtongruppe des Mendana-Archipels.
