Hayton (Haython, Hethum), 1) H. I., Sohn Constantins, wurde durch Vermählung mit der Königin Isabelle König von Kleinarmenien u. regierte 1224–1269, wo er in ein Kloster ging u. 1271 starb; s. Armenien (Gesch.) II. B) c). 2) H. II., Enkel des Vorigen, Sohn Leos III., regierte 1289–1305 mit Unterbrechung. 3) Fürst von Gorigos in Cilicien, von derselben Familie; trat 1305 in den Prämonstratenserorden u. wurde vom Papst Clemens V. nach Frankreich berufen, um seine Meinung wegen eines Kreuzzuges zu erklären; er schr.: De Tartaris, Helmst. 1585; Berl. 1671.
