Infarct, 1) Stockung von Säften in Gefäßen u. Kanälen des Körpers in Folge von Verdickung u. Verschleimung der Flüssigkeiten zumal im Pfortadersystem u. anderen Theilen des Unterleibes; 2) (Engorgement), Erfüllung der Blutgefäße mit stockendem Blute, während die Blutflüssigkeit durch[904] die Wände hindurchschwitzt; 3) Blutüberfüllung eines Organs, so I. der Leber (Infarctus hepatis), I. der Lunge (Infarctus pulmonum); 4) Hämorrhagischer I., Bluterguß in das Gewebe, in Zellen u. Kanälen; ohne sichtbare Verletzung; Bluterguß in die Lungenzellen, Hämoptoischer I. harnsaure Salze, welche mit dem Urin als ziegelrothe Körnchen abgehen; Harnsäureinfarct der Neugeborenen; Niederschläge von Kalksalzen in den Nierenkanälchen, Kalkinfarct.
