Kenilworth (spr. Kenniluörsh), Stadt in der englischen Grafschaft Warwickshire, an der Eisenbahn von Coventry nach Warwick; Fabriken für Hornkämme, Band u. Gaze; 3140 Ew. Hier Ruinen eines Schlosses, welches der Kerker Eduards II. war, dann Lustschloß Leicesters, wo er Elisabeth bewirthete. Zum Theil Schauplatz von Walter Scotts Roman gleiches Namens.
