Klicki

Klicki (spr. Klitzki), geb. 1770, focht 1794 an Kosciuszkos Seite, nahm nach der dritten Theilung Polens französische Dienste, zeichnete sich unter Bonaparte in Italien aus, commandirte 1808 ein polnisches Lancierregiment in Spanien u. trug zum Siege bei Tudela wesentlich bei. 1812 war er in fast allen bedeutenden Schlachten thätig, wurde Brigadegeneral u. zeichnete sich auch 1813 u. 1814 aus. 1816 kehrte er in sein Vaterland zurück. 1830, beim Ausbruch der Revolution, commandirte er eine Cavalleriedivision u. schloß sich derselbe dem Aufstand an; im Januar 1831 führte er einige Tage den Oberbefehl über die ganze Armee, doch seine Kränklichkeit hinderte ihn persönlichen Antheil zu nehmen. Später lebte er an verschiedenen Orten im Auslande.
