Kurow, Stadt im russischen Gouvernement Lublin (Polen); Schloß der Grafen Potocki, Stahlbrunnen mit dem Pyrmonter ähnlichem Wasser, entdeckt 1816; 2000 Ew. Hier am 3. März 1831 Gefecht zwischen den Polen unter Dwernicki u. den Russen unter Kreutz; Erstere Sieger.
