Landīni

Landīni, Christoph, geb. 1424 in Florenz; wurde 1457 Professor der Schönen Wissenschaft in Florenz u. hierauf Lehrer von Lorenzo u. Giuliano Medici. Nachdem er noch Schreiber der Republik gewesen war, st. er 1504 in Vecchio; er schr.: Commentare über Virgil, Horaz u. Dante, auch eine italienische Übersetzung der Naturgeschichte des Plinius u. lateinische Gedichte.
