Lewis River (spr. Ljuis Riww'r, Snake River, spr. Snehk R.), der größte Zufluß des Columbia od. Oregon River im Westen der Vereinigten Staaten von Nordamerika; entspringt auf dem Ostabhange des Hauptkammes der Rocky Mountains, nimmt den Yellowstone River auf u. fällt nach einem Laufe von 200 Ml. unter 46° 6' nördl. Br. in den Columbia River.
