Polyedromĕtrie

Polyedromĕtrie, die Lehre von der Darstellung der wechselseitigen Abhängigkeit der einzelnen Stiicke eines Polyeders durch Gleichungen. Sie ist für die Polyeder was die Polygonometrie für Vielecke ist. So erhält man z.B. das Quadrat einer Polyederseite, wenn man das Product je zweier der übrigen mit dem Cosinus des von ihnen eingeschlossenen Flächenwinkels multiplicirt u. die doppelte Summe dieser Producte von der Summe der Quadrate aller dieser Seiten subtrahirt.
