Renunciation

Renunciation (v. lat. Renunciatio), 1) feierliche Ernennung eines Candidaten zu dem Amt, zu welchem er erwählt war, s. Comitia; 2) (R. matrimonii), Trennung der Ehe, wenn der Mann in seiner Abwesenheit der Frau einen Scheidebrief schickte; 3) Obductionsbericht u. Gutachten; 4) (R. libelli), Verbesserung der Klagschrift; 5) Verzichtleistung, Entsagen auf erhobene Ansprüche. Um als Bevollmächtigter auf einen Anspruch rechtsgültig verzichten (renunciiren) zu können, bedarf es einer eigens hierauf lautenden, in der Vollmacht ausgesprochenen Ermächtigung. Renunciationsacte, jede Entsagung eines herkömmlichen Rechts; bes. Acte des Königs Philipp V. von Spanien von 1712, worin er der Erbfolge in Frankreich für sich u. seine Erben entsagte, s. Spanischer Erbfolgekrieg. Renunciationsschreiben, eine Eingabe an das Gericht, dem ferneren Verfahren entsagen zu wollen.
