Sank, 1) von Schiffen so v.w. leck; 2) vom Holze, welches so viel Wasser eingesaugt hat, daß es nicht mehr schwimmt; 3) überhaupt alle Körper, welche schwerer als das Wasser sind, also in demselben sinken; 4) vom Pferderücken so v.w. gesenkt.
