Schaick, Cornelis von S., geb. 1808 in Amsterdam; ging, nachdem er in seiner Vaterstadt u. zu Dwingeloo geistliche Ämter bekleidet hatte, 1852 als Prediger nach Paramaribo in Guiana; er schr.: Geert, 1847; Tafereelen uit het Drentsch Dorpsleven, Haarlem 1848 (deutsch von Wegener, Lpz. 1850 ff., 4 Thle.); Gedichtjens, Paramaribo 1853, u. gibt die Zeitschrift West-Indië seit 1854 heraus.
