Servĭtus (lat.), 1) Sklaverei, Sklavenstand. Es gab eine S. justa, welche entweder Jure civili od. Jure gentium entstanden war, u. S. poenae, zur Strafe, s.u. Sklaverei; 2) s. Servitut.
