Syntĭpas, syrischer Fabeldichter od. Philosoph, schrieb wahrscheinlich nach persischen Mustern Fabeln, welche später von Michael Andreopulos ins Griechische übersetzt wurden, herausgegeben von C. F. Mathäi, Lpz. 1781, neugriech. Vened. 1790. Auch Name der griechischen Bearbeitung der Geschichte von den Sieben weisen Meistern durch Andreopulos, herausgegeben von Boissonade, Par. 1828 (deutsch von Sengelmann, Halle 1842).
