Uceda, Stadt in der spanischen Provinz Toledo (Neucastilien), hat den Titel eines Herzogthums. Im Weichbild derselben befand sich ehemals ein kleines Reich, das der Patonen. Diese hatten sich früher vor den Mauren in ein tiefes Bergthal geflüchtet, eine Verfassung u. König angenommen u. beschäftigten sich mit Feldbau u. Viehzucht; die spanischen Könige erkannten sie an. Im 18. Jahrh. entsagten jene kleinen Könige ihrer Herrschaft.
